Lloyds Lab- an influential insurtech accelerator

2020 marked the 5th cohort of the world-renowned Lloyds lab and Optalitix were privileged to be able to participate.

Optalitix joined a number of other innovative startups on the ten-week programme benefitting from mentoring, guidance and leadership from insurance industry experts. Being a member of Lloyds Lab enabled Optalitix to develop some of our innovative ideas at scale whilst working in partnership with the largest insurance market in the world.

The insurance market is ripe for the introduction of a more digital experience and Optalitix is able to offer valuable insight into the integration and adoption of cloud based pricing using Acumen and AI to the Lloyd’s market.Working with the Lloyd’s Lab mentors was valuable, they were incredibly knowledgeable about the London Market and its needs and connected Optalitix with the best people in the Market to develop products that will evolve and enhance the migration of pricing spreadsheets to the cloud .

Being a part of cohort 5 demonstrated significant validation of Optalitix’s suite of products and the impact they could have on the insurance market. Further proof of the value offered by Optalitix is the fact that we were the only start up on the cohort to be invited to collaborate on a project with Lloyd’s itself once the programme was finished.
