From discovery
to go-live

A structured implementation process that turns your pricing models, underwriting workflows and business requirements into a live, scalable underwriting platform, with testing, refinement and ongoing monitoring built in

1. Scope and discovery

Begin with a structured scoping exercise across each business line to define the implementation requirements. This includes identifying the pricing raters and models required, understanding underwriting workflows, mapping approval and referral processes, and documenting reporting, dashboard, and data integration needs. The outcome is a clear implementation blueprint covering operational, technical, and user requirements.

2. Pricing model conversion

Prepare existing pricing models for cloud deployment and enhancement within the Optalitix platform. This includes optimising models for scalability and enabling advanced capabilities such as data enrichment, loss distributions, scenario testing, and simulations. Once prepared, models can typically be converted into Optalitix Models in approximately five minutes, enabling rapid deployment and iteration.

3. Underwriting workflow configuration

Configure the underwriting and quote management processes within the platform in collaboration with underwriting teams. This includes setting up input screens, quote workflows, referral and authorisation rules, task management, notifications, and communications. The objective is to ensure the platform mirrors the insurer’s operational processes while improving consistency and efficiency.

4. User acceptance testing

Provide dedicated user logins to key underwriters and stakeholders to test the solution in a controlled environment. During UAT, feedback is gathered to drive rapid enhancements and refinements to workflows, screens, and outputs. Training materials are prepared, operational readiness is confirmed, and a final timeline for production go-live is agreed.

5. Go-live and ongoing monitoring

Deploy the solution into the live production environment and issue production access to users. Following launch, Optalitix supports adoption through engagement tracking, workflow monitoring, and operational oversight. Real-time system health monitoring and usage analytics ensure the platform performs reliably and continues to meet business objectives post-implementation.
