A Year of Challenges and Opportunities
A look back at Optalitix's 2020 highlights, including accelerator programmes, product development, AI events, charitable initiatives and continued company growth.

Like most businesses, Optalitix had to adapt quickly during 2020 as the global pandemic created new challenges for our team, customers and the wider market.
As a company built around innovation, we are proud of how we responded and what we achieved during such an unusual year.
Our 2020 highlights
1. Joining leading FinTech and InsurTech accelerators
Scale, growth and product development remain key strategic priorities for Optalitix.
During 2020, we were delighted to secure places on two highly regarded accelerator programmes: Lloyd's Lab and MassChallenge FinTech.
Lloyd's Lab gave us the opportunity to develop and showcase our technology within one of the world's leading insurance markets, while MassChallenge FinTech connected us with enterprise organisations and new opportunities in the US market.
Both programmes provided valuable experience, insight and relationships as we continued to grow Optalitix.
2. Launching the Tip Talks seminar series
We launched an online seminar series with United Trust Bank to explore, debate and demystify the technologies shaping the financial services sector.
The first Tip Talk proved hugely popular, and we look forward to exploring more topics throughout 2021.
3. Demystifying artificial intelligence
We continued our mission to make artificial intelligence and machine learning more accessible to businesses.
To demonstrate the possibilities of AI in a more engaging way, we hosted an event with world-renowned magician Nick Einhorn, bringing together customers and partners for an evening of technology, insight and entertainment.
4. Supporting charities during the pandemic
The pandemic had a severe impact on many charities, so the Optalitix team launched a fundraising initiative to support three organisations: Crisis, The Harrow MS Therapy Centre and the National Deaf Children's Society.
The initiative gave our team an opportunity to support organisations doing important work during an exceptionally difficult year.
5. Continuing to develop our products
Our products and services continued to evolve in response to the changing needs of our customers.
Our Acumen product received a new, more intuitive interface alongside improvements to model governance, auditing, testing and version control.
These developments helped make the platform easier to use while giving organisations greater control and oversight of their models.
Looking ahead to 2021
We are proud of what the Optalitix team achieved under the uniquely challenging conditions of 2020.
From joining leading accelerator programmes and developing our products to supporting charities and helping businesses understand emerging technologies, the year created opportunities to learn, adapt and grow.
We look forward to 2021 with optimism and enthusiasm for what comes next.
