Almagro was set up in 2017 in order to make responsible investments in retired senior citizens homes. Their products allow clients to continue living their lives in their own homes with a better economic situation. They have a team of more than 25 people with extensive experience in the real estate, financial, legal and tax sectors.
The Business Challenge
Almagro wanted a calculator for their products to be built into the Zoho CRM system. They had already built the model in Excel, and wanted to find a way to scale these calculations with an integration to Zoho.They considered an ad hoc development, but the cost of the build, and the time required, was significant. When they discovered Optalitix Models co-code solution for Excel based models, they immediately saw the benefits of a simple but more elegant and robust solution.
The Optalitix Solution
The Optalitix Models platform is no code and allows Excel models to be uploaded into the cloud by the Excel modeller themselves.After a short training session, the Almagro pricing model was uploaded into Optalitix Models and tested, with a user friendly front end and the API available for integration to other systems. Very few modifications were needed before the model was ready to be connected to the Almagro CRM system in Zoho.
Optalitix Models Value
After just a couple of weeks of testing, the system was ready to roll out and Almagro went live with their new API. They are now quoting on potential investments of 600m Euros per annum using the Models calculation engine.They have achieved a level of efficiency many times in excess of their expectations due to the real time pricing link, with a cost of development that is a fraction of that using full coded development.They continue to explore their usage of the Models platform by expanding the range of products offered and pricing options.
