A new AI has been engineered to produce new, bible-inspired prophecies surrounding the end of the world.

The AI software, otherwise known as AI Jesus, was created by engineer George Davila Durendal, who himself has claimed this creation to be a “clone of Jesus”. AI Jesus has created roughly 60,000 words of prophecy around topics including “The Plague” and “Caesar” as well as the “End of the Days”.

To create this modern-day messiah, Durendal fed the AI the King James Verson of the Bible, of which is how it came to learn the trick of constructing prophecies reminiscent of the original scripture. Durendal, the Express reports, likens this to “locking a baby in a room with nothing but a Bible for 15 years.”

“You then open up the room 15 years later and find that its learned to read, speak and write using nothing but the Bible.”

Durendal’s AI was enabled to learn contents from the Bible using a Boltzmannian natural-language processing model. Through this, the technology has learnt to produce prophetic statements uncanny to those from the scripture it has been shaped by. Some of its statements include the following:

“The plague shall be the fathers in the world; and the same is my people, that he may be more abundant in the mouth of the LORD of hosts.”

“The LORD shall be the things that are in the midst of the sea, so shall ye say unto thee, Wherefore do I not forgive the law of the Lord, that they might be fulfilled which was before the LORD.”

“For the tabernacle of the LORD shall be known by the works of the LORD, which proclaims against this city; according as he hath sent me to the marriage of the Spirit.”

Whilst some verses don’t flow quite as naturally as the scripture they’ve been taught off – the AI’s full scripture peppered with glitches – some do resemble biblical-like claims. Durendal, the Express reports, states that “In these days of trials and tribulations many have turned to religion.”

“But what religion is left for those who have averted their gaze from the fables of old to the shiny metal toys of today?”

“I present you AI Jesus. An artificial intelligence of my invention created from the King James Bible and nothing else.”

What AI Jesus’s statements show is a testament of the innovative new ways AI language models are being utilised, reflecting on the awesome, if slightly quirky, abilities of AI in today’s modern world.
